Nickname: I’ll let you pick it
Years Racing: Hmmm
Favorite Food: Figs, dates, or raw cashews!
Must-do Race: Though I’ve never done it… Challenge Roth
A cyclist at heart, Andres likes his gear a little too much to not be a triathlete. After all, it is the TT/Triathlon bikes that are fastest and look the coolest. While he won’t likely be winning any races, Andres subscribes to the notion that if you’re NOT going to be fast, you’ve got to at least LOOK fast.
Having recently moved to Northern California, Andres feels like there’s no better place to live than in the Bay Area. Originally from Venezuela, he’s lived right outside of Washington DC (Maryland), New Hampshire, and most recently Scottsdale. He’s looking forward to continuing to get involved in the local running, cycling, and triathlon community while meeting some cool people along the way.
Luckily for Andres, he works in the industry, so when he’s not riding or running for work, he’s running and riding for fun. If you’re looking to find him, you won’t find him at the pool… though he should spend some more time swimming, he’d rather spend it hanging out with his wife Susan and three dogs Logan, Miles, and Rusty.
Drop him a line anytime… and if you plan on being at any of the local cycling or triathlon events, don’t hesitate to come say hi, he’ll be the guy wearing the Beyond Aero gear.
