Strava Challenge is open to everyone, prize drawing is open to Continental US & Canada residents only.
To enter, fill out the form, and join Strava private group (you’ll receive an invitation once the form is filled out).
One entry per person per challenge. By entering each grand tour challenge, you’ll automatically be entered to win the giveaways. Want more entries? Share the challenge form, and make sure people write in your name under referral. You’ll receive an extra drawing entry per referral who enters your name. You cannot write your own name or you’ll be disqualified from winning a prize.
Rides must be outside and recorded via Strava app or compatible head unit (manually uploaded rides, edited rides, or trainer rides will not count). Rides must be publicly visible (for scoring), if they don’t show up on the challenge group, they can’t be scored.
Scoring will be as follows: 1 point per mile ridden and 1 point per 100 feet of elevation climbed (if your rides are recorded in KM’s, don’t worry, they’ll be displayed in miles on the private group and scored accordingly). For example, a 30-mile ride with 3,000 feet of elevation will be 60 points (30 + 30).
Scoring will be done per week and leaderboards updated weekly. Rides must be visible by the end of the day Sunday (Pacific Time) each week to count. Once weeks are scored, they’ll be “closed” for further scoring.
There is no cost to enter and no purchase is necessary.
The Brandt-Sorenson jersey winner will be announced after the conclusion of each grand tour challenge to the person who accumulates the most points during each challenge period.
Prize drawing winners will be drawn and announced via email 2 weeks after the conclusion of El Reto (la Vuelta’s challenge).
Official challenge dates are as follows: La Prova (Giro) Monday May 8 through Sunday May 28. Le Défi (TdF) Monday July 3 through Sunday July 23. El Reto (Vuelta) Monday August 28 through Sunday September 17.
If your name is drawn, it cannot be drawn again.
Prizes are: One set Zipp 353 NSW Disc-brake Wheels, One Beyond Aero X ILE Race Day Bag, One pair of Vittoria Corsa Control TLR tires (700c x 25, 28, or 30).
